Anonymous tip on July 16, 2016 leads to arrest (Full)

MEDIA RELEASE FOR IMMEDIATE DISSEMINATION: July 16, 2016

Members of the Blood Tribe Police were on Patrols and acted on an anonymous tip on July 16, 2016. Jimmi Karnell CALLING BULL, 19 years old of Edmonton Alberta was arrested at Red Crow Park on the Blood Indian Reserve, during the Annual Kainai Indian Days Celebration. He was charged with the following:

  • Section 5(2) CDSA Possession for the purpose of trafficking
  • Section 354(1)(a) CDSA Possession of property obtained by crime

CALLING BULL was found in possession of the following:

  • $158.75cash
  • Twocellularphones
  • 80.5suspectedOxy80pills(valued$4830.00)

Jimmy CALLING BULL was also found to be WANTED on a Form 21 Warrant from Edmonton Police Service. CALLING BULL is remanded into custody and will appear at 10:00 Monday July 18, 2016 in Cardston Provincial Court.
