MEDIA RELEASE FOR IMMEDIATE DISSEMINATION: July 28, 2016

Blood Tribe Police Service have recovered approximately $4500 worth of tools that were stolen from a construction site in standoff on July 25, 2016. The suspects of the theft were seen driving a stolen White Ford Ranger bearing Alberta license BMG 9441.

Blood Tribe Police Service have seen an increase in the number of Break, Enter and Thefts. There have been six Break, Enter and Thefts reported over the past two weeks. This is three time more than the previous two weeks.

Blood Tribe Police Service attribute the increase of Break, Enters and Thefts to the prevalence of highly addictive drugs such as Fentanyl. As long as there are powerful addictions in the community, property crime trends will continue to increase.

Police are requesting the public assistance to be on the lookout for the White Ford Ranger bearing Alberta License BMG 9441 and to report any suspicious activity to police. Below are picture of some of the property that is still outstanding.
