Response To A Fight In Progress

On October 16, 2016 at approximately 4:00 pm, Blood Tribe Police Service responded with EMS to a fight in progress call in the community of Standoff, on the Blood Indian Reserve.

A 16 year old male was found near a residence with severe head injuries and was transported by STARS air ambulance to Foothills Hospital in Calgary. The victim remains in critical condition in the ICU.

Harlin Ray CROW SPREADS HIS WINGS, 20 yrs of Standoff, AB, has been charged with aggravated assault, assault with a weapon, possession of a weapon for dangerous purpose and mischief to property.

This was not a random incident as the males were known to one another. CROW SPREADS HIS WINGS has been remanded into custody and will appear in Lethbridge Provincial Court on October 20, 2016.
