Sale of Fentanyl and Cocaine on the Blood Indian Reserve

MEDIA RELEASE FOR IMMEDIATE DISSEMINATION

Between February 3rd, 2017 and February 4th, 2017 the Blood Tribe Police Service Patrol Services Unit conducted an investigation into the sale of Fentanyl and Cocaine on the Blood Indian Reserve. On February 4th, 2017 a Search warrant was conducted at House 919 Standoff, Alberta.

The following was seized as a result of the investigation:

  • 3 Ounces of Cocaine
  • 2 Grams of Marihuana
  • 15 Fentanyl Tablets
  • 3 replica Firearms
  • 5 Cellular Phones
  • 7 Knives
  • 2 Collapsible Batons
  • Various drug paraphernalia
  • 1 Scale
  • $1597.85 in Canadian Currency
  • 10 rounds of 300 Winchester Magnum

Terrance Mario Good Dagger [1977/07/10) of Standoff, Alberta was charged with the following offences:

  • Possession for the purpose of Trafficking Cocaine
  • Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Fentanyl
  • Possession of Cannabis Marihuana
  • Proceeds of Property obtained by crime
  • Five (5) Counts of Failing to Comply with a condition of a Recognizance
  • Six (6) Counts of Firearm Possession contrary to Prohibition order
  • Two (2) Counts of Ammunition Possession contrary to Prohibition order

The Accused has been remanded into custody and will appear in Lethbridge Provincial Court February 8, 2017.
