Couple Arrested for Fentanyl Trafficking

On March 14, 2018 the Blood Tribe Police Service Crime Reduction Unit arrested a common law couple for trafficking fentanyl in Standoff and later executed a search warrant on their home
40 year old Blood Tribe man, Fernando Morning Owl has been charged with multiple offences which include: possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of proceeds of crime.Morning Owl is currently before the courts on similar charges from a previous incident.
35 year old Blood Tribe woman, Olivia Bull Calf has been charged with possession of a controlled substance.
As a result of the investigation, police seized fentanyl and suboxone pills, along with cash and cell phones.
Olivia Bull Calf was released to appear in Cardston Provincial Court on May 7, 2018. Fernando Morning Owl was remanded into custody and will appear in Lethbridge Provincial Court March 16, 2018.
