Police Look for Suspect in Hit and Run

Blood Tribe Police Service is looking for the person and the vehicle responsible for a hit and run with a pedestrian in Standoff, Alberta.

On December 31, 2018 at approximately 8:30 p.m, a female youth was struck by a vehicle while walking in Lower Standoff. The suspect vehicle fled the scene, the youth was transported to the hospital and has since been released.

It is believed the suspect vehicle is a red van that will be missing the driver's side mirror. The passenger side mirror will be black and the van will possibly have body damage on the driver's side. Police are asking the public for information that may help solve this case of hit and run.
