MEDIA RELEASE FOR IMMEDIATE DISSEMINATION

On July 26, 2019 at 3pm police conducted a traffic stop and 29 year old Kyle Pace of the Blood Tribe was arrested on outstanding warrants. Police located a loaded semi-automatic 22 browning rifle in the vehicle and also seized the following;

  • Small amount of cocaine
  • 2 grams of crack cocaine
  • 1 gram of mushrooms
  • $1285 in cash
  • Retractable baton
  • Brass knuckles
  • Several electronics
  • Nail gun, reported stolen from Ontario
  • Over 200 various rounds of ammunition for different types of firearms

Pace faces 14 charges that include; possession of a firearm, drugs, weapons, stolen property, proceeds of crime.

Police conducted a bail hearing and Pace was released on $500 cash bail and appears in Cardston Provincial Court on July 29, 2019.
