MEDIA RELEASE FOR IMMEDIATE DISSEMINATION

On August 29th, 2019, members of the Blood Tribe Police Service with the assistance of Alberta Law enforcement Response Team (ALERT) executed a search warrant in the community of Standoff on the Blood Indian Reserve.

Police have arrested and charged Connolly MANY SHOTS with:

  • Possession of Carfentanil for the Purpose of Trafficking
  • Possession of Methamphetamine for the Purpose of Trafficking
  • Possession of Crack Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking
  • Proceeds of Crime
  • Possession of a Weapon
  • Possession of a Firearm
  • Sec. 7 of the Drug Endangered Children Act.

As a result of the search police seized:

  • 138 Carfentanil pills
  • 12 grams of Crack Cocaine
  • 4 grams of Methamphetamine
  • replica firearm
  • $3970.00 Cash

The total street value of the drugs is approximately $10,000.

Connolly MANY SHOTS was released on a recognizance and scheduled to appear in Cardston Provincial Court on September 9th, 2019.
