One male is in custody after a break and enter into a rural home on the Blood Tribe.

On October 30, 2019 at approximately 3:15pm, police were called to a break and enter in progress at a rural home in the south east area of the Blood Tribe. The victim advised that the subject, who is known to them, broke into the residence and assaulted the victim inside their home.

35 year old Sean Scout of the Blood Tribe was arrested and found to be on a court order with conditions, for a previous assault with a weapon charge involving the same victim. Scout has been charged with break and enter into a dwelling with intent, assault with a weapon, unlawful confinement, uttering threats, choking, possession of a weapon and three breaches of recognizance.

Scout was remanded into custody and appears in Cardston Provincial court on November 4, 2019.
