On July 23, 2020 a Blood Tribe woman was arrested and charged for possession of drugs and endangering a child. The Blood Tribe Police Service along with the RCMP Patrol Dog Services, executed a search warrant at a residence in the community of Moses Lake.

Police seized 10.5 grams of methamphetamines, crack cocaine and heroin, along with scales and an airsoft handgun. A 9 year old child was also located inside the residence. Three subjects were arrested on scene. Two subjects were released without charges and one woman who is a resident of the Blood Tribe, was charged with three counts of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking and Causing a Child to be Drug Endangered. The woman’s name is being withheld to protect the identity of the child.
