BLOOD TRIBE MAN ARRESTED AND CHARGED WITH SEXUAL INTERFERENCE, ASSAULT

The Blood Tribe Police Service have arrested and charged 54 year old Ronnie Standing Alone, with one count of Sexual Interference and one count of Assault. Standing Alone is a bus driver with the Blood Tribe Bus Co-Op.
Standing Alone has been released with several conditions and will appear in Cardston Provincial Court on December 10th, 2018.
No further information will be released at this time.

Fatal Rollover Collision on Blood Reserve
At Approximately 6:45 PM on November 25th, 2018, the Blood Tribe Police Service, along with Blood Tribe EMS and Fire attended to a reported single vehicle rollover. The rollover occurred on Township 41, east of Hwy 2 on the Blood Reserve. It was determined that there were 4 occupants in the vehicle, all were ejected. Alcohol was determined to be involved.
One occupant died on scene while the others, including the driver, were transported to area hospitals.
RCMP collision analyst has been called in to assist with the investigation.
This incident is still under investigation.

Search Warrant in Moses Lake Results in 2 Arrests, Charges Pending

On Nov. 28, 2018, members of the Blood Tribe Police Service executed a Search Warrant at a residence in the Moses Lake community of the Blood Indian Reserve. Police have arrested and charged Richard PRAIRIE CHICKEN and Duane SMALL EYES with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Cocaine & Carfentanil, as well as Possession of Proceeds of Crime.
On Nov. 28, 2018, members of the Blood Tribe Police Service executed a Search Warrant at a residence in the Moses Lake community of the Blood Indian Reserve. Police have arrested and charged Richard PRAIRIE CHICKEN and Duane SMALL EYES with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Cocaine & Carfentanil, as well as Possession of Proceeds of Crime.
Police seized 21.5 grams of Crack Cocaine, 9 Carfentanil tablets, Oxycodon, assorted drug paraphernalia, prepaid credit cards and $379.80 in Canadian currency.
Both men are in custody and scheduled to appear in Lethbridge Provincial Court November 30, 2018.

A collision involving a Blood Tribe School bus on the Blood Indian Reserve is still under investigation but not considered criminal in nature.
At approximately 4:45 pm on November 22, 2018, the Blood Tribe Police Service responded to a report of a school bus that had gone off the road and rolled. Six students and a driver were assessed and treated for there injuries. Alcohol is not considered a factor in the collision.
