On August 22, 2019, members of the Blood Tribe Police Service enter into an investigation which resulted in the executed a Search Warrant at a residence in the Moses Lake community of the Blood Indian Reserve.

On July 26, 2019 at 3pm police conducted a traffic stop and 29 year old Kyle Pace of the Blood Tribe was arrested on outstanding warrants. Police located a loaded semi-automatic 22 browning rifle in the vehicle and also seized the following;

UPDATE -- Victim is stable and one man is charged
Police were called to a stabbing in the Moses Lake community of the Blood Tribe on Sunday July 28, 2019 at 8:40pm. Witnesses state that the two males, who are known to each other engaged in a physical altercation and the accused used a knife to stab/slash the victim.
25 year old Richard Calf Robe of the Blood Tribe has been charged with aggravated assault with a weapon and failing to comply with a probation order. Police conducted a bail hearing and Calf Robe was remanded into custody and appears in Lethbridge Provincial Court on August 1, 2019.
The victim is reportedly in stable condition at a Calgary hospital.
PREVIOUS MEDIA RELEASE
One male is in custody and charges are pending after a stabbing that occurred in Moses Lake. The victim was transported to Calgary and his condition is unknown at this time.
